A city of art and history
About twenty minutes from the Belle Vue Hotel, on the other side of the bay, the charms of Concarneau await you.
Concarneau is a city of art and history, an important fishing port, and a seaside resort.

The Walled Town
The walled old town, surrounded by fortifications, invites visitors to discover its past and stroll through its shopping streets.
Stretching along one of Brittany’s most beautiful bays, Concarneau is the ideal place for seaside leisure activities and boat trips, and the diversity of its beaches offers everyone the opportunity to enjoy the seaside as they wish. Or why not enjoy a day at the Thalasso spa?

A renowned fishing port
Also worth seeing are its fishing port, fishing museum, Marinarium (a center dedicated to discovering and protecting marine biodiversity), the Fête des Filets Bleus festival in August, the Festival du Livre de la Mer book festival, the Festival du Polars Le Chien Jaune crime fiction festival in July, and tours of canneries and breweries.
Keriolet Castle, 5 minutes from the town center, is open to visitors during the season. Come and explore this castle, which was redesigned at the end of the 19th century for a Russian princess, aunt of Nicholas II, and where Prince Felix Youssoupov also resided.
