A sandy beach
Located at the end of Baie de la Forêt, Cap Coz beach, in the municipality of Fouesnant, is a fine sandy beach, a narrow strip of sand that ends to the east with a small rocky islet.
A safe beach for children (lifeguard station in July and August), perfect for swimming, water walking, sailing, paddleboarding, but also for relaxing on the beach, building sandcastles, or fishing among the rocks…
Cap-Coz, which closes off the Baie de la Forêt, is well protected from prevailing winds by the Pointe de Beg-Meil.
At the rear, discover the Cap Coz mudflats: a paradise for birds and a paradise for birdwatchers who, throughout the seasons, see flocks of turnstones, terns, gray herons, and brant geese passing by. These rich and fragile mudflats are teeming with planktonic life. It is a magical and relaxing place.
The water sports center welcomes you for courses or rentals.
You can also rent a catamaran to visit the Glénan Islands. This sailing school has produced some big names in sailing!
